We went back to the gift shop from where tours begin and indulged in some very special gelato. All flavours named appropriately for shows or characters. I had the Mintalist (my usual: chocolate mint) and Marilyn had Road Runner Raspberry. A little souvenir shopping, loitering to relax in the air conditioned shop and we were under way again for our next adventure de jour.

Next stop... Studio City and the Hot in Cleveland taping.

... wheels so we headed for Venice Beach not being sure what to expect having heard a number of stories about it - not in a good way. We needn't have worried. During daylight at least it is a mad mix of Californian surf beach, a beach path congested with all types of skating and biking wheels, live music, fast food, beachside shops and arty beachside homes. We found boy heaven at a skateboard shop and left quite some time later burning through much of ...

... I have made time to book myself into the best training place ever. If you are ever in LA hit up Training Mate. High interval training that makes me want to laugh, die, high five, vomit and dance...all at the same time. This awesome establishment is run by Luke Milton and has a bevy of awesome staff. Even Esther Anderson (any H&A fans) has joined the crew and my first session there Tim-o-matic was there killing it too. Ive made a pretty ...
