We went back to the gift shop from where tours begin and indulged in some very special gelato. All flavours named appropriately for shows or characters. I had the Mintalist (my usual: chocolate mint) and Marilyn had Road Runner Raspberry. A little souvenir shopping, loitering to relax in the air conditioned shop and we were under way again for our next adventure de jour.

Next stop... Studio City and the Hot in Cleveland taping.

The buildings look so real, it's very impressive. I won't tell you everything about it as I wouldn't want to ruin any ...

... This tramtour takes us around the backlot with the different soundstages and city sections as well as thematic items such as King King 3D, the Jaws lake, the Bates motel etc etc. Pictures will follow. The tour takes about an hour or so and is a great way to get see some actual movie related things as most of the theme park is less movies and more rides with a theme. On a sidenote, Warner Studios in Burbank offer a "pure" ...
