Mia has continued to make an amazing recovery. We were moved to a regular room on Tuesday morning. They had her up and walking that day too. I was starting to sweat because I did not want to miss the final flight to Rio.....Luckily, the gate for my next departure was fairly close and I got there just as they were announcing the final boarding!

... for the rest. We'd eaten very little all day (except Matt) in anticipation of a big Texan bbq and were feeling pretty hungry, so headed to the food zone. Our 'guides' introduced us to the beef kebabs - succulent pieces of beef, interspersed with zucchini, sweet pepper and onion - amazing. There were also chicken kebabs, massive turkey drumsticks approx. 20-25cm in length which had the bony end wrapped in a napkin and people ate as they walked around - unique! ...
