... was on cruise control most of the day as the road was so good. we have been aiming for North Platte, NE for a fuel stop and Flying J, our favorite fuel stop. We love those RV lanes.
We stop for lunch at a rest stop and then head on to Grand Island, NE for our one night stay at the local KOA. As we look West we see the setting sun in the West. Always a great thing to see.
... my app says about 25 mph but it is gusting higher and it moves the motorhome and the semi's around. I guess the only good thing is it was a tail wind so maybe we had good mileage. Everything is hazy looking especially after being use to seeing the beautiful blue sky in Wyoming but the landscape is green with more trees appearing probably because of all the water.

Greg's Version: Today was an easy drive. We stopped to see the Union Pacific Museum in Council Bluffs IA but it is closed on Mondays. We continued on the Grand Island NE and spent a couple of hours at Stuhr Museum. This is a very interesting museum that if it ever has enough money could be as good as Greenfield. ... of Labor Temple was an interesting building. It was bingo night but we didn't go in. Antique malls were on every corner and the newly renovated Grand theater was cool. Finally, we ended up at Nathan Detroit's pub and enjoyed a cold glass of Buffalo Sweat. Don't worry, it was actually a tasty dark beer.
