We snaked our way back to the apartment via numerous shops and malls before arriving as darkness descended over Chicago for another day - around 4.30pm. We were in the direct sun in the right field corner which for this stadium isn't miles away from home plate. During our conversations the guy in front of us (in our seats technically) turned and asked about my Wyoming Cowboys t-shirt (his nephew had attended there). As we continued to talk he asked about my trip he ...

Sitting put and resting your leg when you are supposed to be exploring a new city can prove to be rather difficult, as I am now experiencing. What to do, what to do? I keep myself busy as long as I can, flipping through tourist maps and guides, contemplating all the sights I would be able to see despite my crippled foot. However, I feel the walls closing in on me rather sooner than later and thus I head out into the sun. Ignoring the obvious agony of my leg ...
