      Relaxing at Sea Again

      ... tonight. The kids weren't really into the show so Darrell and Maureen left early and took them back to the cabin. Amanda and Allan watched the rest of the show and then returned to the cabin as well.

      It was time to finish packing up the suitcases and put them outside the cabin for pickup overnight. Amanda headed up to the photo shop at 10:30 and picked up the items we couldn't get earlier. It was time to sleep for the last time on the ship.

      ... levee all around it and we never once got a glimpse of the lake (although we did cross the Miami Canal that starts from the southern end of the lake).  We stopped for lunch at Sonny's Barbecue Pit in Crewiston just across the road from the lake.  We thought we might have a lake view, but there was this levee....  However, the barbecue was great and the salad bar was delicious.  I recommend this place if you like barbecue ...

      One thing everyone should know about Florida is that there are toll roads, everywhere. You can't escape the toll roads. It was just $2 here and there to start, but then it was $15.50, and then another $2 here and there.       ... have to be out of the hotel tomorrow and we wont to get out of the city and get into the rural areas for peace and tranquility. Our Van is a Ford Custom van 2001 With leather seats and Electric fold down bed at the back. I have test driven it and the few things that need attention are been attended to as I am writing. We should be on our way tom or Saturday.

      ... snacks later, we headed off to check out the shops. Nice things in Facets and the other shops but some were a little different to items available on the Emerald - a bigger ship. We were listening to a musical trio just near Provence dining room when a couple from the Emerald stopped by to say Hi … I had forgotten they were on this cruise too !!
