Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

    Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

    Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

... in Deland, we loaded up the Grumman Tiger and headed northwest. The tailwinds we enjoyed coming south were now against us, and the trashy weather in north Florida meant filing IFR to get out of the state. Made it back to Bozeman after an overnight in Kearney, KS. When we taxied in at Kearney, the EAAs B-17 , "Aluminum Overcast" was sitting on the ramp to great ...

Per tradition, I once again find myself writing a blog entry the day before my adventure begins. I'm ...

... was a fantastic little boardwalk swamp trail that took us right into the middle of one of the swamps. There are alligators all over the place but we didn’t see any. We did see some awesome birds flying around though and the plants and ecosystem were fantastic. When we got back to the homestead the line for the tastings was gone but there was still some sweet potatoes left so we got a small second helping! Don`t worry everyone, we gave a nice donation! It was time to hit ...

... I spotted an alligator. That really added to the trip to Florida.

Wednesday, the 10th, found Larry and I heading back to the Verizon store as my phone still wasn’t working. Lucky for them they exchanged my phone without any problem. Then decided to see how far Costco was and found it to be only about four miles away so off we go for our Costco fix. Then it was back to the rigs for dinner with the Kaspers ...
