      ... we had to pass through on the way in and on the way out. Nightmare! I imagine, however, that the rest of the city cannot be so bad as all that

      ... in 22 months. We did several field puzzle caches--caches which are themselves easy to find, but which then require some clever problem-solving to get into. Since you have to sign the log to claim the find, you have to solve the puzzle. I had heard of this type of cache, but had not encountered any before.

      After caching, we went back to David and Michele's house for pizza and Christmas movies. A pleasant day all around.

      Today started with eating and ended with eating. It's the last day of the rally and it is usually a very slow day. Started the day with breakfast. Lots of variety. They had breakfast burritos, donuts, cut up fruit and cereal.       ... lasso a calf on horseback and then jump off and tie up 3 legs. The fastest time wins! The first to go was the eventual winner recording a time of 7.3 seconds. This was quick! This was Martyn's favourite event as he enjoyed seeing the horse help by pulling back on the rope when the calf was lassoed. Then it was the girl's turn, they were rubbish (there were only 2) and neither recorded a time because they missed the calf!!
