We left on time and despite a rather bumpy landing I made my way from Stanstead to Kings Cross for the train to Grantham and then home.

I have a couple of hours to waste away so grab a coffee and sit outside. I notice ...

This girl had an ********** look in one pannier, asked me what a tin of Holts Tyreweld was for and then ticked several boxes. Obviously some private company scam into conning the government into believing they're keeping this Country safe??

... in the Wizard of Oz throwing apples at Dorothy and her friends. Oo....De....Lally? Then there were the ancient oaks standing majestically and commanding the respect of everyone else in the forest community. Occasionally, I'd come across an ancient oak that had died. They almost looked like monuments in the forest with all other vegetation paying homage to their legacy. My hike ...

... for sticks to use with bow and arrow. Not a red Squirrel in sight. That is until we got back to the bus and spotted one by the picnic bench. Delicate fluffy looking things compared to the cheeky rough and ready grey one we are used to at home. All in all a great find. A place to wild camp in the future for sure. Off we set back to our little camp speck to have some dinner then bed.

A quick little trip, much fun all the same. Goodbye Anglesey, we will see you again
