      ... did the full program and visited last week we heard they kind of look what people look like and according to that they hand out the places. Both Gioia and me got our tickets in the same section. Before we could enter the waiting section outside we had to go through security check and they took everyones phone away and gave us a number as if you're checking in your coat.       Back to the hotel for a short break before our Ice Cream Party at Ghirardelli's across from our hotel.

      We had a free evening on our own so we then met up with friends of Uncle Bob and Auntie Bonnie's who live in LA for dinner at Yamashiro Hollywood. The view of LA from the restaurant is which is on top of a hill is amazing.

      ... girl who had just done a season at Panorama Ski resort, BC, who was in my dorm. That's the same hill where Grace spent some time, and Megan who I met actually knows Matt who Grace use to date when she was there. It's funny who you meet along your travels, always making connections.       ... I came. The people I met here made my stay unforgettable and showed me such generosity that I can only hope one day I can pay it forward. The drive down to San Diego and the border was a mix of emotions...the last 3 months in the States has been an incredible experience filled with the most amazing people and a big part of me has no desire to leave...but my visa is nearly up and now the "adventure" part begins. Mexico is calling.....

      ... scary rides that I have been on (and Jordan too. For example, The Simpsons Ride was described as highly aggressive - it was excellent. I disliked the Shrek one because of the spider on the screen, - I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, there were hundreds of spiders and then something came out from underneath the chair that made it feel like there were spiders on your legs.....YUK. ...
