We arrived in Brussels via train from Rotterdam. It's still a weird feeling knowing that you cross into another country and no one checks your passport or makes you fill in a card 'Border Security' style. Today we have done a little!! Sightseeing ...the Palace and Park ...both very picturesque. Oh yes......a stack of washing!! And girls......some shopping.....very practical though.....sports ...

    Brussels - Andrew's lowdown

... amp; high end shopping district and to cap this off took the obligatory "open-top" bus tours (2 separate routes by the same company). Normally these have been highly reliable and worthwhile in the other places we have done them like London, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, London, Cambridge, Paris.... But in Brussels it was pretty ****. The sights were of course great to see but the buses themselves were infrequent, cold, dirty with bad earphone plugs & really ...
