Cold morning and a bit chilly sitting outside for breakfast. We packed up before breakfast. The dawn chorus was terrific and the cuckoos were calling all around. We found the route towards Breda but somehow veered off it and came back to a place we had passed two hours previously. A lovely postman stopped his van and pointed us in the right direction. We still did not reach Breda as we decided to find the campsite ...

As we bordered the train there were ...

Still a little shaken by the near-miss in the metro station, we emerged from the train into Place de la Bourse to find a large, loud parade in progress. We watched for a moment (although we were ultimately unable to discern exactly what the parade ...

... is how it was in the past. When we left we took some more pics and then walked down to the shopping area because Nadzha wanted to buy a drink. We walked down this alley and there were so many restaurants. The waiters started trying to persuade us to dine but we didn't feel like eating. I just wanted a drink of juice. We settled for a place called drug opera and bought mango crepe instead. I ordered juice. If there's one thing that is consistent in Europe it's the drink size. ...
