    Tuesday 12th August

Today promises to be bright sunshine, very windy with gusts up to 50mph and occasional downpours, so not good especially when we were out in them yesterday. We decided to stay another day and then Isi could put to bed the insurance claim having to download the claim form and post it now she had all the relevant information. When we arrived half of the team trucks and buses were lined up to get in. We stuck our little tent under some big pine trees. I was busting to go and ...

Today we have done a little!! Sightseeing ...the Palace and Park ...both very picturesque. Oh yes......a stack of washing!! And girls......some shopping.....very practical though.....sports ...

    Brussels - Andrew's lowdown

A travel blog entry by cassandrew on Feb 28, 2013

So Cass has gracefully "asked" me to write a review of our trip to Belgium... Well to cut a long story short it was G R E A T!!! Now for the long story :-) W arrived at Brussels Europe train station from Paris on the Thalys train which was great. These Europeans seem to have really worked out train travel to an art. Next up we went to our hotel in the "European" district of Brussels: Le Sofitel Europe. Nestled on a nice little square (functions as a car park during the ...
