    ... to enjoy some amazing clear blue sunny skies as the weather started to turn in the North East, perfect for enjoying the Northeastern sky lines and hide out in galleries and museums when it got too cold, at least until the rotten snow returned in bloody Washington ( less said about there the better).     ... Pre-Screen TSA" line, which is supposed to be faster but really it just means it's faster AFTER you pass through (no shoes off, no computers out, etc). We inhaled some dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and got on the plane to make it back to DC. The plane was not full, but my row was, and it turns out the guy sitting in my row had met Jason before on a search committee for a new dean at Marymount...the world is small. Here ends part I.

    ... It has been hard to buy a healthy breakfast cereal. They even have Special K with chocolate curls! The yoghurt is fat free, but loaded with sugar.The aromas of cinnamon and fried chicken will always remind me of this holiday.

    I have learned and now understand more about slavery and the struggles of the black people.

    The natural beauty has dominated our visit, and seeing and experiencing so much snow is something we'll never forget.

    ... I think it only uses gasoline when I turn on the car or accelerate/break hard otherwise it uses electricity. I wonder how much milage it gets? Could be my future car. Driving in Miami is crazy. People drive more aggressively than LA and most people don't indicate when changing lanes.

    Tonight we had a quick dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant "Fratelli Milano" because the last NBA games of the season are on TV. ...
