      We made advanced reservations to stay at the Miami Everglades Resort from Mid-January through Mid-February since we are told that these are peak months in Southern Florida and demand is very high. Not located anywhere close to the city of Miami, this park is situated in the Redlands Agricultural district and is surrounded by farms and tropical floral nurseries.       ... minutes later he comes back and asks where in scotland i am from. Of all the nationalities i could meet, the first person i meet is a guy called Sam who is from Edinburgh.       ... a 75 minute spa treatment of massage and facials. I opted instead to eat ice cream (which is amazing and unlimited) and nap. We ate our final formal dinner and then headed back to the casino to make another donation. We had a great, relaxing and fun final day, with no sun burns!!

      ... the more traditional fare, Barbequed Chicken, Cajun Shrimp and of course green, black eyed peas and corn bread muffins.

      The $50.00 per person tab was well worth it, because it included all the cocktails and even a special midnight toast. All in all this was the way to bring the new year in.

      ... boarding pass and went through security. Once in the concourse, I went straight to the food court. There is a McDonald's there, I could not resist. That was the first time I had eaten at McDonald's in many, many months. It tasted pretty darn good!

      From the food court I made it to my gate and ultimately onto the plane. Then it was off to Port of Spain.
