    ... early 60s. The album included music from these 2 as well as James Taylor, Emmy Lou Harris, glen campbell and Alison Krauss to name but a few. Carl was a superb guitarist and banjo player. He joined Glen Campbell's band when he was 15 and spent 10 years working with him as a banjo player. What a great night.     Well, we finally reached the "East". We crossed the Mississippi, Ohio, and Missouri Rivers today. The Archway is still in Saint Louis. See the photo - we crossed the Mississippi on I-64 south of the Arch. It was an overcast day with light rain most of the day.     ... nicest drive yet. Trees are changing colour and small waterfalls form over rock cliffs. At one section there was a massive rock slide into the hwy. Due to the hour we gained changing time zones we arrived at Jack Daniels Whiskey Distillery about midday after driving 4 hours. They had two tours the free tour or the sampler tour which cost $10 and you see a little more and sample the whiskey. Tim opted for sampler tour and we would skip the ...
