He Haw!! Into our second day in this country western town where honkey tonk music is being played in every nook and cranny! We arrived around noon and spent the next three hours at the Country Western Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Absolutely fabulous! Videos, movies, Elvis' car that was painted with crushed diamonds and eggshells to have a glistening color, and all sorts of amazing guitars, clothing (a whole hall dedicated to the dresses of Reva and Dolly). ...
... It is basically a museum for musicians that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and had some really good memorabilia. The highlights were Elvis Presley’s gold car, his gold piano and an enormous wall completely covered in gold and silver records. They also had a really interesting temporary exhibit on Patsy Cline, and a Carrie Underwood exhibit is opening in a few weeks.

Well, we finally reached the "East". We crossed the Mississippi, Ohio, and Missouri Rivers today. The Archway is still in Saint Louis. See the photo - we crossed the Mississippi on I-64 south of the Arch. It was an overcast day with light rain most of the day.
