We left Austin and travelled via Georgetown which has a well preserved turn of the 20th century main square, court house & heritage buildings. We found real ice cream via the tourist information office again and a nice museum in the old bank building, which had a fascinating feature on the first prosecution of the Ku Klux Klan.

The views from the summit were great even with the cloudy skies and hazy air. So on a clear day, you can probably see all the way to Fredericksburg or Llano. After Ronny & Linda departed, we drove over to Johnson City to the ARC De TEXAS for WINE & VIEWS. This is a building which looks like the Arc DE Triumph and is sitting on the top of a hill. Too bad it was so hazy, but the views from the roof terrace were still good. Robin and I did a wine tasting, not really our taste, but a couple were not too bad.
