It was pretty interesting and Janet Randle, the Renegades sheriff, found herself a new had with a flashy new badge (literally, the badge has flashing lights on it) on a hat. After we dropped Janet and Baylor back at the campground, Robin, Rodney, Bob & I drover over to Dripping Springs for a shopping trip at New Canaan Farms!

      ... we went out Monday night and Wednesday night. Some of us then just sat outside until almost 9 visiting and catching up.

      Wednesday morning brought the washing team of one. He started at 9 and finished about 12. He did a great job. He washed the roof and then worked his way down. After washing, he hand waxed and buffed. Now "G/G" is nice and shiny and it will probably rain! But "G/G" hasn't looked this good since it rolled off the assembly line! We all sat across ...

      ... soooooo boring!!! it seemed like it took forever to get to the point where we left I-10 for US 290. Of course 290 isn't all that interesting either. There were dark clouds gathering and it sure it looked like it was going to pour down at any minute, but no rain. Pretty soon, the clouds parted and the sun was shining, thus making it warmer.

      While being in the army we have tried to travel to things close by Fort Hood. We found this little slice of heaven one day while driving around. Marble Falls, TX. is beautiful. It's close by the water and has the best diner that I think I have ever really tried. My favorite is their Pecan Pie. I have never had any better pecan pie then ...

      ... in the fall we will take classes at the community college, pottery (wheel) for me and randi is taking a hand building class so our next adventure at home sounds pretty busy as well!

      we will be home on the evening of april 21st, a month early, which has worked out well for us. thank you billie, who with su's help has taken care of our home and kept it safe. .
