About an hour down the road, driving through Port Lavaca, we came upon a city park that called to us. How could we pass up staying right on the beach? We didn't. Upon landing in San Antonio I got the whole up-sell speech from the folks at Hertz. Give me full coverage, leave me alone, no I don't want a GPS. Well guess what? They aren't about to take it out or anything so I got a GPS without paying. HA!
