We spent the weekend in Bretagne, one day in Nantes, and a few days in the sea resort town of La Baule, spending some quality time with family, taking the sun, enjoying the food and exploring the surroundings.

Nous avons passe le weekend en Bretagne, un jour a Nantes puis quelques jours a La Baule. Nous avons pu nous y reposer, profiter de la famille, du soleil, de la cuisine francaise et explorer les allentours.

We stopped off for a lakeside walk in the village of Asserac on the way there, and coffee and a bit of shopping in Roche St Bernard on the way ...

... air") where we park nearby in a little village and make cream of mushroom soup for tea. We are craving healthy food so we have filled the van with fruit, vegetables and yoghurt. We also have a bat and ball set and hope it may be used in the morning on the beach that is just an 8.5km bike ride away!
