    ... for company. Above the fir trees sit patient clouds, though they weren't so patient when we arrived. Nice weather for...the beautifully coloured ducks that just skimmed across the top of the water in front of me. Two hours ago it was ******* down but now the sun shines brightly.     campsite a bit disappointing compared with what we have been at on our travels so far. Not overly friendly, seems more focussed towards French clientele. The surrounds and scenery are beautiful, mountains as far as can be seen. Must be excellent for winter ski season too. Hot still. Summer has certainly hit! ...

    ... in farmers fields. The other strange feature here are the lakes and ponds. This region has over 1,000 of them. Black brackish holes some with boating, fishing and some with gorgeous houses built next to them. We saw an amazing one at la Mer. Two lakes and a sunken swimming pool, mill wheel and landscaped gardens. I was so in ore I forgot to get my camera out. In fact I forgot it most of the ride.     We went there cause we wanted to go to the some camping called Les Hirondelles (18€) which we discovered last year. It is nice, quiet and out of our book of small campings. A big advantage is that the lady of the camping cooks a wonderful trout which comes out of their private lake, so again we really enjoyed our evening dinner on their terrace.     ... and decided to drive to the next town to see if we could get an appointment at the vets to get Logan certified as fit to travel back to the UK. The vet was able to sort it out whilst we were there.
