    This was our stop to visit the Grand Canyon, but a snow storm and icy roads ended our tour to the canyon and so we had time to explore the area. Phoenix is urban sprawl defined. It is a number of counties that have spread across lower Arizona and formed a city. Each county has it's main street with restaurants and shops and unlike other USA cities there are no skyscrapers.
