If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! Even if it is a few flurries, you break everything warm out you have, and act like it is a freakin' blizzard!! Or at least that is what we do in my house. My husband is from Chicago so he things it's hilarious! Whatever, we have fun!!!!! ...
... to drive around downtown Austin. After circling the city and seeing the Capitol building and the University, we headed to the original Whole Foods where the girls had dim sum and pizza, Tad had a burrito and I had a Thai chicken curry bowl. We hit the bookstore next door to purchase a road atlas and tour books on New Orleans and Florida. After a while I decided to go out for a walk. Bob was watching a movie and decided it was too cold to go for a walk. I walked around the short loop of the campground, then down to the lake. It was a beautiful ...
Well, the cold front has started to come through. The temperature when we got up this morning was 38 with a wind chill of 24-BRRRRR!! The Cedar level today reached 15,000. We made a trip to Home Depot and HEB for a few supplies. At Home Depot we picked up some insulation to stuff between the buffet and refrigerator. Last night I discovered cold air coming in. It seems to be coming from. The outside refrigerator vent allows cold air to come in when the wind ...
