If you live in the south, you never get snow, you don't even expect it! When the rare time comes around that you ACTUALLY get snow, all hell breaks loose! Even if it is a few flurries, you break everything warm out you have, and act like it is a freakin' blizzard!! Or at least that is what we do in my house. My husband is from Chicago so he things it's hilarious! Whatever, we have fun!!!!! ...

We treated ourselves to breakfast delivery to the room at 9am, as we were all up late because of the time difference of 2 hours. After packing up, we walked across the street to walk over the Waco Suspension Bridge which, when it was built in 1870, was the longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi. It spans the Brazos River. After our short walk, we loaded into the car and headed south, stopping along the way at a Schlotzky's drive-thru which also had Cinnabon minis. The ...

The day started out as usual. Bob up at the crack of dawn, me sleeping until 8:30 or so. The sun was peeping out from the occasional cloud until about noon, when it was mostly clear. The temp reach 65 or so with the occasional burst of wind which still brought the cedar, so no relief today.

Most of the day we spent inside, me sleeping, Bob reading, but about 2:00 we ventured out to visit with the group who were gathered outside ...

Got up this morning and noticed the water hose had frozen during the night. Luckily we had added some water to the fresh water tank, so we turned on the water pump. Once the sun shone on it for a while, the hose thawed out, so now we have running water again.

After a while I decided to go out for a walk. Bob was watching a movie and decided it was too cold to go for a walk. I walked around the short loop of the campground, then down to the lake. It was a beautiful ...
