While I succeeded in finding another entry, I entirely failed in seeing a deer. So far on this trip the only wildlife I've seen is a very distant seal (I mean to say the seal was far away, not that it was distracted), a mouse, and today's squirrel. In Australia you can't go 10 metres into the bush without tripping over a kangaroo. Once I'd given up ...

... plans were for this year but we did learn that Nicole is an astronomer and wanted to come here to visit the home of one of her heroes, so in one day we learnt about a new famous person and actually met someone who knew him!!

Dinner on board was one of our favourites that I mention every year and every year I don’t know how to spell it – the Burmese curry Ahmahthahin – we love it but we do reek of garlic the next day. Good job we’re going ...

... coughing I bought a drink we eventually got to board the plane. The flight to Chicage lasted for about 3 hours and 18 minutes and went on pretty smoothly. When we started our approach towards Chicago O Hare airport which is one of the worlds biggest if my menory doesn't fail me, I noticed it was a pretty long approach with lots of turns and in the dark sky (it was about 8 pm when we arrived) to the left and behind us I saw planes both entering the approach and landing and ...
