... The family farm again, was way too cute. With a grand total of 21 dairy cows over 20 rolling green acres, the milk from this small herd supported both Susan's parents and her brother- something that would be unimaginable in Australian farming families. The farm had been in the family for something like 300-400 years so I imagine the loans and infrastructure costs had been paid off years ago and today's generation were able to enjoy the day-to-day profits. The house and ...

It has been an extremely long day and we are all once again exhausted. By the time I got back to the hotel my feet were killing me and it was just great to relax on the balcony under the wonderful Alps mountains.

Only after we finished playing and were all sweaty and looked like we just ran a marathon, we took notice of the security camera in the corner facing the air hockey table. Who ever was on the other end was probably rolling with laugher because this was certainly not the way that two young women should behave. Oh well we had fun plus someone gets a laugh out of it and that's all the matters. Life's to short to be walking ...

... and make it myself. I headed to the park next to the parliament buildings which has a hill that overlooks some of the city and the Alps in the distance. Apparently the locals like to eat here too. And talk about the Swiss and their timing, because at 11:59am, 5 or 6 groups of people all arrived to eat their lunches. It was funny to see as an outsider.

I then decided I had seen what there is to see for free in Bern and headed to the train station to catch a train to Lucerne.

... definitely not a party town. Although when I first arrived and was walking to the hostel I saw 2 crazy guys in their underwear jump off a bridge into the fast flowing river which meanders round the city.

Attractions I saw in Bern were not too impressive. The Einsteinhaus was laughable and that's exactly what we did when we walked in. I couldn't stop laughing to be honest. Yeah cool its ...
