Today was going to be a travel day, we had to be up early because the bus left at 8am but the pick up point was a 30 minute walk so we were up around 630 quietly got the last of our things packed away so we didn't wake our room mates and left about 7.
The bus left on time as usual but the guide said 2 people hadn't turned up for the bus which was unusual. We would be in Bern around 530 and had 3 stops on the way, all of them still in France so ...

We ate it in their garden and it was a lovely evening, talking about all sorts of things and getting to know each other a bit more. We ...

... lakes, forests, and more mountains. There was always something more impressive around the corner. Interlaken itself is a very touristy town as it is the central base camp for a lot of the mountains in the region. Unfortunately the weather we left behind a few days ago seemed to have caught up with us so we ended up getting a bit of a drenching. After a nice warm coffee in a very fancy looking restaurant we decided to call it a day and head home. Unfortunately Susanne's ...

... proceeds to shake off right in my face. How kind? My clothes are now beyond wet and dirty. I should be mad the dog but I can't help but laugh. I'll let her fun while she can. I'm like the cool babysitter, where you could get away with just about anything. Today was a repeat of yesterday just without the sunburn. I treated myself to an ice-cream, which is always fun to order in my non existing French. Hand signals, grunts and noises that were meant to be words are all apart of the ...
