Our accommodation was about 30 mins south-east of Vaasa. The surrounding countryside is lovely, green and dotted with quaint old timber farmhouses, 90% of them painted a dark red colour. On Saturday, we went on a boat trip to the Kvarken Archipelago, a Unesco Natural World Heritage Site. We went around a number of islands, which had hundreds of small summer cottages along the waterfront. ...

Another splendid day and this time, we had the use of showers and toilets so it wasn't necessary for us to be off and away as soon as we were up. ... home, it is frequented by walkers, joggers and bicycles. I saw a couple of guys fishing in the inland salt water lagoons. Vaasa is definitely not a destination vacation city but it has been kind to us. Today is another beauty with lots of sun and cool temperatures.

We were able to perform again at another care center. We're singing better every day. He said it ...

We had no chorus commitments today. I went for a much needed walk today across the causeway to an island. There wasn't too much to see as it was a commercial area and the main port. I did see a campground, some public marinas and a permanent amusement park. I did cover 3miles or so and got a log of fresh air. I didn't see any wildlife except a few snails in the woods.

I have noticed that the birds are ...
