When you come aboard the air plane you can place the photo-gear in the carry-on case.
This is not strictly cheating as it is allowed and even described in the airlines own rules. The camera around ones neck is equal to a lady's handbag witch both is allowed in addition to the carry-on case.

We jump in our little rental car (Adam) and backtrack towards Odense which we passed through just this morning.
