A nice and wonderful hotel to stay at

Wonderful hotel to stay. Even though it was very busy the room was extremely quiet to sleep in. Good wifi, tea, coffee and all were supplied in the room together with good soaps and all. Certainly one of the best hotels on my travels and I would certainly stay here again.

31-05-14 Kristiansand (Norway) to Aalborg (Denmark)
Today I awoke here in my wonderful 12th floor hotel room and wondered what
I was going to do all day here in Kristiansand. First thing was to find out
ferry times and book a ticket.
I certainly was not in much of a hurry to leave my hotel room as the view
    from up here …

Well I thought the ferry trip was over but no, the adventure continued with a minor altercation with a Danish biker involving a fallen bike on the ferry ..... Long story short, insurance details were exchanged and the nose cone on the BMW is a little scuffed. So we leave eisberg and head on a tourist road towards a place called ringkøbing which lies between the sea and a fjord on ...

Tonight we are staying outside of Aalborg. We travelled to Skagen which is located at the northern tip of the Jutland peninsula. It is a major shipping centre and fishing town. During the summer it is also a tourist town. Very quaint houses - likely many are vacation rentals. Then we headed back south to Aalborg where we will stay overnight before taking the ferry to Sweden tomorrow ...

I absolutely adore Aalborg! It is not a tourist part of Denmark by any means but it is wonderful. The people are so lovely and friendly, it is very safe and clean, the night life is great, it is beautiful and the food!...... I don't think the food gets any better than it does in Denmark!

I have been here twice already but plan on going many more times and hope, one day to go on a more permanent basis :-)

... north of Hvide Sande. This delightful little site consisted of 3 little open huts overlooking the fjiord and a little boat harbour. It also had an extremely clean toilet and shower($2) to use which was also shared with the little fishing huts closeby. One of the other shelters was already occupied by a lovely young Danish family-Lone(pronounced Lona) and Martin, with their 2 gorgeous little blonde haired girls- Laura(6) and Milla(4). They lived only about 20km away ...
