... and just kind of kicking back. Then came the early evening and a wonderful water skiing exhibition on lake Pewaukee. The temps were in the mid 70's with light breezes and a place to sit on a beautiful beach. It can't get much better than this. The reunion was fun and I saw lots of relatives that I hadn't seen in quite a few years, and met some I had not met.. The food was GREAT as always. The only downer was my sister Ramona was sick and couldn't attend. I was really looking forward to seeing her again. Maybe next ...
... we made a trip down to Hyvee the local grocery store to get the rest of the ingredients for Pavlova and I saw heaps of stuff that we don't have in Australia as well as finding out just how ripped off we get on american goods at home. Will have to make another trip there before I come home to stock up!. Looks Like my pavlova has worked so hopefully everyone who comes tomorrow will enjoy some!

Luckily i am pretty conscious of these differences, & am continually looking both ways (mainly because i keep forgetting which side i am supposed to be looking at), & i have not yet been run down, or caused any major road accidents :P
Another thing that i noticed when i was in Chicago, was that there are no buttons at traffic lights ...
