    ... Oh and me and Lewis did a bungy jump off a 136ft ledge which was attached to a cable car which was over hanging a canyon?! Safe to say hangover is an understatement for the days after queenstown.. What an amazing place!! We spent the next few days travelling through Christchurch aka ghostown, It was like a zombie movie game town?! Finally we ended up in aukland ready for the next adventure... Oh and some sunshine so off to fiji ...

    As we were leaving Wall, SD we entered onto the Badland scenic road. I love this national park. It is so different looking. You are driving in the windy plains and all of a sudden you see this amazing striped formations on the land. It is hard to describe. You just need to see it in pictures.     ... we made a trip down to Hyvee the local grocery store to get the rest of the ingredients for Pavlova and I saw heaps of stuff that we don't have in Australia as well as finding out just how ripped off we get on american goods at home. Will have to make another trip there before I come home to stock up!. Looks Like my pavlova has worked so hopefully everyone who comes tomorrow will enjoy some!

    ... We had passed the halfway point of our journey.

    Day seven was a character builder. Sunny and hot for a long ride into Amarillo. Another challenge, a mild desert. We met the challenge...sweat soaked and exhausted. Our reward was a Limo ride to dinner at the Big Texan. Texas is big...nothing but wide open ranges and heat. Beer coolers in convenience stores were a welcome sight!
