... we made a trip down to Hyvee the local grocery store to get the rest of the ingredients for Pavlova and I saw heaps of stuff that we don't have in Australia as well as finding out just how ripped off we get on american goods at home. Will have to make another trip there before I come home to stock up!. Looks Like my pavlova has worked so hopefully everyone who comes tomorrow will enjoy some!

... by exhaustion...we were all changed by the journey...some more than others and in so many different ways. The stress and togetherness of these types of trips can make or break friendships...Hopefully we came away with a tighter bond, a greater appreciation for our country and the opportunities we were given in life...I think we did.

Luckily i am pretty conscious of these differences, & am continually looking both ways (mainly because i keep forgetting which side i am supposed to be looking at), & i have not yet been run down, or caused any major road accidents :P
