... is made and distributed in Switzerland - not sure if I like knowing that Cheese lasts for a year or not, but it was still quite awesome bc we ate lunch here and everything was full of awesome cheese!
It has been a great start so far - our program has 33 students from all over and it has been fun getting to know everyone and seeing how University life differs in Europe from the U.S!
Miss you all! Auf Wiedersehen (Goodbye)

The scenery so far in Austria has been nice, but not spectacular (here I go, comparing it to Switzerland again!) But my next town more than makes up for it. Auberbraz is halfway up up grassy hillside, and above it is not one, but two magnificent waterfalls, tumbling over the rocky precipice.

Looks like I'm getting back on track, and I can see the sizeable town of Bludunz up ahead. But first, snuggled up next to it on the hillside is the town of Nuziders. Here I pause for a strum session in a mini park with an old fashioned well--noticing what looks like a Turkish family leaving their very Austrian looking home across the street.
No "immigrant ghettos" here in Nuziders...
