... a number of face lifts over the centuries - Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque. The current facade of the 1950's reflects communist social realism and instead of the usual parade of saints, the figures are the average worker: miner, farmer, athlete, scientist, housewife etc. The chimes are two men striking an anvil with a pick and hammer but the best part is the end where a golden rooster mounted in the centre of the clock crows and flaps it's wings. It's hilarious and Jack took a video.
... had a soup if I can remember correctly( shes sleeping as I type this…….best not to wake the sleeping beauty lest I incur her wrath) and I had a Panini which was pretty much an entire ham and cheese sandwhich. Got up and managed to make a complete racket even though I was trying to be really quiet. Felt like a complete idiot. Ate up my boxes of cereal and milk and managed to get on the correct bus. Phew!

Today I joined the Busabout tour group. There are 44 people on the tour total. 1 other American, 2 Canadians, a few Brits and a lot of Aussies.
