... my quiet reflection moments in Borneo when I was 17. It was the first time I'd ever travelled overseas, and honestly I didn't really want to go. The Borneo jungle and scenery was so foreign, and the climate so muggy. The smell of sewerage, the foreign food, the different language, culture, people. ... What am I going to do? Maybe cooking this dinner was not such a good idea! OK.... I can do this..." My silent conversation with myself. I quickly began, because these "chops " had to cook in a slow oven for four hours . As I was looking over all my ingredients, and what I had to substitute for what could not be found here... I was even more nervous that this night was going to be a disaster..... Realistically I could only cook one slab of meat at ...

... in the beautiful, airless, morning sun. Starting each morning, sitting at the table enjoying my cappuccino on Milena, is the best way to start any day. It wasn't long before we were entering the harbor at Acciaroli. We quickly tied up the boat, grabbed the food trolley, and were off to the street market. The last time I was at this street market was with Denise and we found all kinds of neat things. Row after row, and column after column, we happily ...
