Everyone was up early and we stored everyone's bags in my room. We were escorted to another building for breakfast. Mmmmmmmm, meat and cheese!!!! Northern Europeans know how to do breakfast!!!!

We were escorted through the residential area between the hostel and the train station on a zig-zag route. We were assured it was a short cut. Hmmmm. We arrived in enough time to catch the bus to Billund. After an hour ride, we arrived at the Lego World Headquarters.

I didn't mention that we learned that the word "Volvo" means "to Roll" in latin. The name was originally owned my a ball bearing company that partnered with a car company.

The tour started off by Us visiting the museum of Danish history where we saw what the Danish lifestyle consisted of during the 19th and 20th century. We then visited one of ...

Our principal reason for staying at Celle was just 25 kms away, but before heading for Bergen Belsen concentration camp we fueled up the DS3, which is averaging 4.5 litres/100 kms despite the 120 km/h cruising on the autobahn. We also had a wander around Celle and discovered it's many charming buildings.
We then went looking for a supermarket, but apparently they are closed on Sunday as we confirmed later in the day.
In planning this trip Jude ...

    Fun in Legoland

Our "full" day at Legoland. Not a lot of rides for us "bigger " kids, but the ones that there were were fun. Only downside was the wait in queue and the rides were generally quite short. But certainly lots to look at while you wait. And there is Lego everywhere for the kids ...
