Our first stop was the "Scrovegni Chapel" this place has a fresco painted by Giotto completed in 1305 and considered one of the most important masterpieces of western art. It is very busy and it is easy to get lost which is nothing new for us! We have only gotten lost 2 times!!! Overall, we are having an amazing time...we thank everyone who supported our trip, we are having the best time spending money..oh wait..euros! Love to everyone back home. ... go. My hotel isn't actually in Venice; it's in Mestre, just across the water from the city of canals. I caught the train across, and after stepping out of Venice station, I just stopped dead and stared. Directly in front of me, where you'd normally expect a busy road with cars, buses and trucks, was instead a giant mass of water snaking its way through the city. I mean, I knew Venice was famous for its canals, I just ...
