    Day in Padua ( Padova)

    ... only had an hours drive. We had already decided not to go into Venice, as we knew if was not going to Wheel Chair friendly, and both of us were not that keen in going to Venice. .

    We walked around Padua had coffee, found a market and very large park, apparently the second largest in Europe. Considering the size of this little town, they do have a lot to offer.

    With a sad heart we left Padua.

    ... our tour saw some commotion of the local police and fire brigade as they cordoned off an area. Then there was a loud 'boom'. Apparently someone left a bag unattended, fearing it may be a bomb it was blown up. In the mid afternoon we took a boat across the Venice lagoon to Burano. Burano is a small fishing village, well it was a fishing village, it now relies on tourism and lace making. It was a beautiful little town with all the houses painted different colours. ...

    ... Camping Village D´oro) and it was great. I had my own cabin with a full bathroom! I fully enjoyed a night of privacy and a hot shower! I was all ready to get up early in the morning and head out but it was raining löike no rain i have ever seen before!
