... calfs with their mothers, big bulls trying to mate (it was rutting season). I got some photos which I will post on Flickr and may post here when I process but will be a little later. Check back. Truly a spiritual experience. We saw more bison the next morning (see Breakfast with Bison) but lots of people then. Better light then also but this was amazing.

... apple chunks that tasted AWESOME!!! There was tons of road work so we would have to go in the dirt a lot! One part was so dangerous to bike on that we got to ride in the back of a pick up truck for 5 miles!!! Tonight we went to this restaurant for dinner, we thought it would be a normal restaurant but it was made mostly for motorcyclers so the lights were really dim and a lot of the people had accents! ... hanging out the car's windows on the hairpin turns to get the best pictures when there was no place to park. We saw a guy mountain climbing one of the spires and when we thought our drive could get no more scenic, we came to the Needle's Eye. Only God could imagine and create this awesomeness!!! Crazy Horse was a famous Oglala Sioux leader who fought at Little Bighorn. He died on September 6 and the sculptor who was commissioned to create the statue was born on this same date, so the Indians thought it was a good omen for him to be the one to sculpt it.
