Later, we went outside to observe animals in the preserve, accompanied by Safari West staff who discussed the animals, their habits, their habitats, and more. All this was to help in the preparation of the kids' reports.

    ... Golden Gate Bridge about 2 pm on the 20th, bout the same time that I left Thames. Hence the title day 1 again? Just weird! On arriving at Santa Rosa I asked the driver where I could call a cab & he kindly called one for me from the bus.     ... Valley area and took in the picturesque scenery and forests. I stopped on the side of the road at one point where I saw all of the crops laid out and after taking some pictures I realised that there were huge purple grapes hanging from the trees and the fact it was just on the roadside was even better. These pictures were some of the best pictures I have ever taken.
