So sadly, we had our last breakfast on the balcony of our villa and watched the sun come up! The sun rises around 7.40am on the island. We closed all the shutters and locked up the house. The boys were waiting outside for us. We loaded the cases into the little Fiat and headed off to the ferry. When we arrived there was a huge line up of cars , I was wondering how they would all fit on, until I saw three really big buses and a truck come off. Andy was finding it very hard to ...

The cruise ship stopped at another Greek Island today, but one quite different to Mykonos. We docked at Argostoli on the island of Kephfalonia. ... and tsunami which buried the site under about 10 feet of mud. It was the Germans who first excavated the site. They are still working on the excavations today. There were two large temples, one to Hera and one to Zeus. The temple to Zeus contained a very large statue of Zeus made of gold. Of course, that disappeared over the years. We saw where the Olympic flame is lit ...

... in a humorous way but with some very good dancing. From there we headed to the pool party which was more a dance party around the indoor pool. The ships entertainers performed acrobatics and contortion, and mermaids swam around, but the passengers were pretty buttoned down or so it seemed for Craig who didn't have an alcoholic drink all day. Toward the end some passengers jumped into the pool fully dressed, including one of our neighbouring ...
