      • Last night I didn't get much sleep at all. The car was uncomforable.
      • Got up around 7am and had some granola bars and apple juice.

We hiked all day, got to tehachapi willow springs road and met up with Coppertone for a third time! After a root beer float we started a worthless effort to hitch onto Mojave opposed to Tehachapi. We ended up calling a cab and got a $30 ride to the motel 6. Micah and Wolf wanted to do dinner down the street at a Mexican/pizza diner and we tagged ...

The other option is to hitch hike from paradise valley cafe to idyllwild's Humber Park and take the Devil's Slide Trail 2.5 miles to where it connects to the PCT 1.5 miles north of the closure. Most hikers were taking this option. After much discussion we decided to take the hitch hiking route and make up the miles on side trails along the way. I am currently sitting in the laundromat in town taking advantage of the 3G. Day 13: 16 Miles to pine forest campground (190.5) Day ...
