    Stayed on the outskirts of a large campsite with lots of Germans on their way into The Netherlands. On the second day caught the train into Groningen which is the capital of the region and I think the main city in northern Netherlands.     ... of Dutch food, plus what was my favourite as a child. Corina said they only have that when I come there, don't think she likes it. With my aunt's birthday we did have some beautiful cakes, I swear you cannot buy them in Australia, even on the cruise they had lovely cakes, but didn't taste anything like the ones you get in Holland.     ... some more than others), I have made life long friends, I tried out a few new things, I have experienced riding a bike in rain and straight line winds, I have eaten more kabobs than I will admit, I have eaten more questionable things than I will admit, I have bought clogs, and I can navigate this city like I've lived here for years (kinda).     ... soon as we met! Even though we knew as little about each other...well actually no, come to think of it we knew quite a bit about each other.  We went for a walk around the city and canals for a bit (completely disorientating me - don't ever let me go anywhere alone) and talked about everything.
