      • From TCU we traveled 205 miles to the University of Oklahoma
      • since it was a short drive we took the tour of the university the same day.
      • I really enjoyed the rich history the university had. I love watching the BOZ.
      • They provided us lunch as usual and then I sold my socks. it was a rough day.. only made $40.
      • For dinner I ate Panda express. I spent $8.22 on some delicious orange chicken and fried ...

      ... I got to Savannah. I'm so glad she did!

      I still had to go to the upper reaches of Georgia to visit someone, travelling along the Appalachian Foothills Way I found yet another hall on my path:



      Again, a single car in the carpark, there must have been a group out witnessing. I spent the rest of that day driving through Georgia and eventually turned the nose of the van towards Savannah.

      ... quite impressed with his offer.

      Moved into town (Norman) to be closer to things. Stayed 2 nights at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. Nice, spacious, clean space. Full hookups $20/night. All self serve. Found an awesome grocery store: Sprouts. They are a regional chain. They had grass fed, organic meats, organic dairy, etc. etc. ....nice find!

      Got to Wichita Mountain Wild Life Refuge where we saw a bunch of Bison, big-horn steers and prairie dogs, pictures here. So now we're in Norman at the Riverwind Resort and Casino, where, you guessed it, the Tufie is working the machines.

      Oh, and I forgot to mention that we went to the Holy City, where apparently some pastor held an Easter morning service in 1929, and it grew from there with ...

      ... Hugh got sarsaparilla, me-lilikoi, Rylynn-peaches & cream, Finn-orange cream soda. We also bought corn on the cob to try later and buffalo wings for Michael. We all liked the sarsaparilla & orange cream soda best.

      We got back well after dark. I was a little worried that I left the ac on. But upon arrival, was grateful that I did. The cicadas are very loud and the heat was miserable. Without ac, I don't think this trip would be as ...
