We had a great chat for a short time, but they were also going to join an afternoon group to make a big day of it. We were able, however, to discuss the convention as their congregation had been tied in to the Detroit International I'd attended.

They told me their hall wasn't far away...



...and I managed a quick chat with a car full of brothers heading out into the territory ...

... quite impressed with his offer.

Moved into town (Norman) to be closer to things. Stayed 2 nights at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds. Nice, spacious, clean space. Full hookups $20/night. All self serve. Found an awesome grocery store: Sprouts. They are a regional chain. They had grass fed, organic meats, organic dairy, etc. etc. ....nice find!

Got to Wichita Mountain Wild Life Refuge where we saw a bunch of Bison, big-horn steers and prairie dogs, pictures here. So now we're in Norman at the Riverwind Resort and Casino, where, you guessed it, the Tufie is working the machines.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that we went to the Holy City, where apparently some pastor held an Easter morning service in 1929, and it grew from there with ...

... Hugh got sarsaparilla, me-lilikoi, Rylynn-peaches & cream, Finn-orange cream soda. We also bought corn on the cob to try later and buffalo wings for Michael. We all liked the sarsaparilla & orange cream soda best.
