    ... in this convention 'season' this congregation must have been away enjoying their turn.

    So I missed out on a meeting anyway! I reasoned that all the other meetings I'd had the choice of in Oklahoma City would also be at a convention... and the phone numbers provided are only at the halls, so there'd be no chance of calling anyone to find out.

    I wondered which International Convention they'd be tied ...

    Nicest guy staying next to us. He's from Arkansas working here for a couple of months with oil corp. We asked if he knew where we might get some wood. He said it would be outside the park but we were welcome to take his vehicle if we didn't want to drive ours. Can you imagine??? We didn't do that ...

    ... br> Oklahoma City was absolutely desolate. Almost no cars going in or out of the area we were in. It was eerie knowing what Seattle & Tacoma are like. Onward to the roadside attraction north of the city.

    Pop's in Arcadia boasts over 500 kinds of pop. It's really a fill up on fuel and fizz convenience store with a burger restaurant too. Flavors were outrageous: cotton candy, toxic slime, baked potato, coffee, ranch dressing, chocolate, apple ...
