And so after a long flight - 12+ hours - we arrived in Paris, grabbed a quick drink and then on to Birmingham. Unfortunately, Pat's suitcase decided to stop off in Paris but will hopefully be delivered tomorrow! Back to a sunny UK, with a temperature not much cooler than Hanoi yesterday, where the blossom is in full swing. Lots of memories of a lovely holiday. ...

Thanks to everyone who gave us parting presents, attended one of several leaving events or had any advice for us whatsoever. Even the many, many people who (to make themselves feel a little less jealous) told us how many times we were bound to get diarrhea, and how romantic that would be. Thanks for that too...

Enjoy reading. And wish us luck.

... be a habit as I left Parkside ((Doncaster) twice, but it was a lovely day and the birds were no doubt singing somewhere.

I really liked the south side of Doncaster (no not because it's the way I left) but because they have lots of new nice looking thought through housing and open spaces and lakes. Looked really good but as I said the sun was shining.

Got half way to Nottingham and stopped at a ...
