... boat finally set off (well after 9pm - I have learned that there the French operate on a different time schedule, almost as bad as the Italians!), it began to drizzle. We spent some time downstairs inside the boat, but eventually braved the elements in order to get better views (and photos) of some of the illuminated buildings and structures of Paris. This morning we headed straight to the Eiffel Tower after Tara was woken up at 9.30am. The lines were long but Tara and I got the express line, reserved for people in wheelchairs. The sounds - the church is famous for its organ and organist, Daniel Roth. Mr. Roth played the prelude, during the service, and then ...

... Syrah/Grenache blend from Côte du Rhône. Buy a bottle of the Syrah for dinner tonight. Finally make it back home just after 5pm. Lonnie tries to do laundry again while Ash makes Veal casserole for dinner. Lonnie back by 7pm with 10kg of clean and mostly dry clothes. Found out the laundromat was actually open at 7am but you have to push the door hard to open. Divine dinner - the Syrah a perfect cooking ...

... walk. The stop in hotel is short and I’m going out again. Now I’m using the metro again, it’s so much more convenient than walking :D I’m going to go check the waiting lines by the Eiffel tower to consider if I have time to go up…

… I don’t have that much time, I would need to take a lift and it would take me one queue for tickets (around 40-60 min) and then queue for lift (20-30 min). It’s better than yesterday, actually much ...
