We departed Ohio today and headed for the 10th state on our summer vacation road trip: The Bluegrass state of Kentucky.
Before leaving Cincinnati we had breakfast at an interesting restaurant called Sugar n' Spce which had a kid-fun theme as you can see in my pictures. Along with cartoon characters painted on the wall were rows of small rubber ducks. Not sure of the story behind these other then the waiter says the owner collects them and shares one with each guest, ...
... We we got home around 8 pm. Feels so good to be home. The dogs nearly wet themselves. Thankfully my parents take good care of our puppies. Their furry grandpuppies. Thank you mom and dad.

... my dad. I don't know why the most random things make that happen. Once we stopped laughing at ourselves for crying over a statue of a horse, we entered the Kentucky Derby museum. The museum covers two whole floors and includes a neat 360 degree movie theater. The film of the day (every day!) is a movie called "The Greatest Race". It's only ten minutes long but that's still five times longer than the average Kentucky ...
