Paul insisted on taking a picture of me with the one who breeds on the supermarket pole, saying the caption will be Two of the worlds greatest nest builders!

He took us on a cave hunt/cliff walk, led us to our coveted hole in the wall breakfast joint, gave us a glimpse into his new "urban" tour of the street art and history of Lagos and capped it all off with a spectacular day of kayaking in and around the cliffs and caves of Lagos. We decided to stay on until Monday when the township are having a religious ceremony to bless the fishing boats, followed by local dancing. This got the whole community out and a procession of clergy and followers walked from the church to the port. We joined in too. The people are so religious ...
