      ... br> Time got the better of us - taking more time in both of the Gaudi buildings and queuing which meant that we walked briskly along Las Ramblas and down towards the Columbus Monument. With an estimated 45 minute wait to take the lift to the top of the monument we decided to press on towards the port - Port Vell which was literally just across the road.

Then Battery Boy had the undercooked tuna in a light marinate with vegetables and herbs and Video Girl had chargrilled Iberian pork 'secret' marinated in a lightly spiced red curry, sautéed vegetables and orange sauce which had her dipping her bread in the sauce at the end, before licking her pretty little pink fingers as she wiped them over the plate to retrieve every last drop.
