Well, the ticket time actually indicated that the tour started at 12:30, we were supposed to arrive between 12 and 12:15. And we got there about 12:33. Whoops! We leaned on the generosity of a couple of nice people there, and they managed to get us hooked up with our tour just ...

... on Carrer del Dr. Joaquim Pou. We hadn't read any reviews but the menu outside looked reasonable, wasn't translated into English (usually a good sign) and wasn't full of tourists unlike the restaurants opposite our hotel. We ordered a selection of tapa which included: patatas bravas, cod balls, padron peppers and chorizo. The food was nothing special but after a very long and tiring day it was good to sit down and talk about what we had done and seen over drinks and food.

After that it was back to the pool for our last games. We played round robin with two other teams and the girls continued to play well. It was great to see the girls put in a real effort this past week and really work on the things we have been going over.

After the games it was off for a tapas dinner with some of our new friends and then off to the hotel for packing and bed. A big THANKS goes out to Yuri, ...

... and were immediately blown away. I cannot describe in words the breathtaking beauty of this church. The pictures we took simply cannot capture its beauty or the feeling of awe that comes over you when inside. Construction on the church began in 1882 and is scheduled to be completed ~2026; when Gaudi died in 1926 the church was only ~20% complete. Because Gaudi did not leave behind exhaustive blueprints of the design, construction ...
