    ... a croissant later (our second of the day), we were off to the Ramblas. A side note, Monica has an inexplicable obsession with "gypsies." Several times throughout our trip, she has pointed out gypsies to me that, honestly, just appear to be homeless/transient folks to me.     ... used and the trains were few and far between. At about 6 pm we finally found Aunty Hazel at our agreed upon rendezvous point of the benches outside El Corte Ingles at Placa Catalunya. Placa Catalunya is the main square in Barcelona.

    ... t like a normal furniture store at home, where the lounges topple over one another. If you weren't paying close attention this place would’ve looked like you’d stepped into someone’s house, until you turned around and found yourself looking at 3 different living rooms. I particularly enjoyed the bathrooms features.

    ... and finally I’m at the beach. It is slightly overcast and perfect conditions for running. The sand on the beach is sublime. It seems as if someone has straightened out the sand overnight.
