76km, 18-35deg, fine, clear blue skies and sunny. We had a bread roll with cold meat and cheese, coffee, fruit and yoghurt in our room for brekkie to start the day. The Mercure provided us with a coffee machine and pods which were renewed every day. Got under steam at 8:30am and were on an immaculate bike path immediately, which is completely normal in Germany. Tomorrow the Boys and Girls are back ...

... for a wander. Not the most peaceful of drives due to diversions etc. but we arrived at the carpark unscathed! Mum and dad took the bus up and we walked (not one of our better ideas due to the gradient!) We then wandered right up for a snacky lunch and a few pics. It is the ultimate fairytale castle. The descent was mildly less stressful due to a bus ride that could have ...

... upstairs while tita ran some more errands. It was really funny playing with the girls and a great way to end my trip. They are all such great girls and extremely funny!! I continued to pack a little at a time throughout the day only to realize I needed to unpack the majority of it so i could protect the fragile stuff!! It was a process but well worth it. For dinner we made grilled pizzas which were delicious!! Tita's friend, Angela, came over with her son ...
