... us it wasn't far to the main road where we could get a $2 bus into town, so we set off walking. An incoming group confirmed it wasn't far, and we were able to quickly catch a bus, having taken a punt on which direction was the best to get us home.

... cruisers thought we spotted the two as they FINALLY went through customs, (two young 20-something men), and we wanted to read them the riot act for delaying our return to the ship!!

Next day we had several hours of relaxing before it was time to return the car and take their shuttle to the airport. Our return flight to Vancouver was via routed via Fort Worth - Dallas where I had a delightful unexpected encounter, running into a former student whom I hadn't seen for years and who was waiting in the airport for her connecting flight, though not to Vancouver. ... br> After 4 days with them we headed for Toronto and spent 3 days visiting my 90 year old Dad & my 92 year old Aunt. They both live in the same residence so it was easy to see them both together. We took in tea and treats everyday. We sat & chatted about old times, present times and grandchildren. It was nice.
Now we are waiting to board our plane for home! Hard to believe we’ve been away for almost eleven weeks. ...
