... I got an email from the bank on the 12th of December, literally right before my last IBC exam. I did not do as well as I wanted to as I was freaking out a little bit but had lots to look forward to.

Now, figuring out how to get to a developing country where you know no one and all you know is the address of the bank you are working for, good luck. I received huge blessing from God during this whole process when looking back should have been very scary ...

You could tell immediately this was a disaster of epic proportions. The normally happy Filipinos always smile, even in the face of adversity. But this time you could tell from the photos and videos it was different. There were no smiles. Only shock and anguish. Some describe the impact and aftermath of the storm as "hell on earth".

... As you drive into the farm we passed by the new basket ball court which seemingly provides endless entertainment for the lads. The building was beautiful, set in amazing grounds surrounded by coconut trees. The lads enjoyed showing us around their house which was basic, and very tidy. They then showed us around the farm.
