    ... evening. We ended up being stranded in a town in the middle of Nowhere, Germany and ended up staying the night in an odd little inn. We got up early the next morning to catch a 6:30am train and were back on our way. After a full 24 hours of traveling, we finally reached our hostel and were able to check in to our rooms at long last. It was a total fluke of a stop and although we never intended to, we added a pin in our map somewhere in northern Germany.

    OK, so this mornings mission was to find yet another post office. Why? Because in my efficient packing in Amsterdam I somehow managed to pack the TV remote from the last hotel. Why? I don't know, some kind of brain freeze. I've now gone from leaving stuff in hotels to unintentionally flogging stuff. After consulting google I took to the streets.     ... things I've noticed so far. 1) I think they have more bikes than cars here, maybe its the places I stopped, but there were heaps of bikes but hardly any cars. Unlike Amsterdam however I haven't been run over yet 2) no-one wears helmets, unless they're on a motorbike (vespas, not real bikes) And even then, I saw one dude jump on his Vespa, pull the helmet on, don't worry about the chin strap and take off. 3) couples can argue while riding a ...
