So, after all the waiting we did, we are actually in Germany! The plane wasn't very comfortable, and a couple of us were forced into seats that didn't recline (making sleeping hard, painful work) but we didn't crash and burn, so thats a plus! Yes! So magically, the flight managed to squeeze in over THIRTY extra people including us! It was supposed to leave at 2am, but it left around 4. There were even empty seats so that we could move and lay down/stretch out! Very nice.

Everybody was doing very well and were strong and trim. Werner had lost 22 kilo and looked great. He is exercising at Fit and Fun and taking rehab several times per week.
Also visited with Molly Morse and the children. Madison just graduated from h.s. with honors and with a great running season behind her. She was highly recruited and had lots of options but the U. of Florida will get her. She is excited to get going. Hazen ...
