Last Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20th, I had a lot of free time to relax and catch up on sleep. ... Del Croce Church but it wasn't very long so in we went! At last a warm dry place with interesting things to look at! We grabbed an audio guide and immediately discovered what a gem we had found. Inside the Santa Del Croce are entombed a lot of famous Italians including Galileo and Michelangelo. It was pretty amazing! Dinner that night was at a restaurant that Marco had suggested to us and true to his word it was great! I had a beef stew and Ryan ...

... the Piazza del Vecchio which was an open area full of ancient sculptures and also had a fountain of Hercules. When we were in the Accadamia we saw an artists impression of what it would of looked like. It felt very surreal to think that I was in the same place! That's something I can't get over! The Accadamia houses the statue of David by Michelangelo which is a masterpiece and something you have to see if your in Florence. It also houses a series ...
