... mountains around Florence for spectacular views of Venice and the mountain villas. The smells and scenes were fantastic and I think we got some amazing pictures. We didn't get back to the room until after 7 and headed for dinner at our favorite spot down the street from our hotel. We had the best tasting cream spaghetti dish and a chicken dish with a very tasty cream sauce.....oh yummy! If we lived here we would both be huge!
Great day, off to Venice on the train ...

Rain made it difficult to do other things we had planned so we wandered back through the street stalls selling leather coats, bags and belts as well as scarves and souvenirs. Dinned at an authentic Tuscan trattoria recommended by our host. We were not disappointed, but the house red only came in 1.5 litre wicker encased bottles so you are very lucky to receive this ...

Day 9: Today we continued on our travels and we are going to Florence. When we go there we went on a horse ride along the countryside just outside Florence. We really enjoyed the scenery and countryside and we had a lot of fun riding the horses. We really enjoyed ourselves. After lunch we went to Duomo Cathedral of Santa Maria dei Fiore. It is a nice place with an amazing history. We really enjoyed ourselves. We had a nice day today and we are really excited for ...
