      Day 4 - Monday, 8th September, 2014

After a few cups of coffee we rode through beautiful Luxembourg countryside, in a south eastly direction, until we reached the town of Remich which is on the Moselle River. A short ride across the bridge located there saw us in our 4th country in 3 days, Germany.

We then rode through hills and forest on very good roads until we reached the town on Mettlach, located on the Saar River, ...

It appears to be another dreary day. It was fun to go shop and look. I purchased a sweater she was happy with until she put it on and they left the sensor on it. We headed out in Lothar's car for Heidelberg. We parked six stories below the ground level. ...

... and Caro on the boat and we got headphones to listen to a narrator talk on the radio. The boat tour was fun at first because we got to see a lot of the city by the river, but it was really long. We all saw ducks and swans on the river and even a floating baguette (when in France I guess). The boat even went into this lock where it rose with the water level to continue down the river. That was cool because ...
