The buildings had a heavy influence of Germany and the Netherlands, giving the town an old unique feel. We would get a chuckle at some of high-end stores nestled into the old shops; we are not use to seeing that!

... has lots of sandstone buildings and medieval half-timbered houses. There are cute little shops on the streets and vendors selling antiques. We ate at Au Pont St. Martin, a nice restaurant next to the river. Linda, Alexis and I had onion soup, while Harlea, Lina and Leif had sausage with fries and a salad. We enjoyed the warmth of the restaurant and the view of the river.
