We have stayed at this Resort on several occasions now and we have always been pleased with the service and cheerful personalities of the reception staff. Unfortunately on this occasion the Swim Pool was not available for a number of days but the Company did arrange for us to use the WaterMark Hotel Pool just across the road. We had a one bedroom unit and have found this Unit extremely large and it exceeded my expectations prior to going there. As usual all the facilities were there and usable with the exception of the pool.

Dinner was served during the show and we had pumpkin soup as an entree, thick steak with mashed potatoes and veges for dinner and apple pie for dessert.

Byron is honestly the most chilled out place ever, and I'd love to go back again at some point. Another funny but crazy thing ...

The drive down to Cairns airport completed all we do now is wait for our flight to be called. The blog will be paused once more as we spend some time with our family. There may be further entries towards the end of February, as we make our way ...
... beautiful city. Brisbane was well and truly ticked off on the Australian bucket list.
The day we left for surfers paradise, our bus was at 16:00 so we spent the morning and early afternoon avoiding the sun in post office square, utilising Brisbane's free wifi. After a heavy burrito lunch we waddled back to reclaim our luggage and caught the bus to surfers paradise.

Over the last two weeks there has been a lot happening in Grafton with the Jacaranda festival in full swing and the trees are magnificent this year. Anyone travelling to the Northern Rivers of NSW at this time of the year should make it a must to visit Grafton at least one day or better still two days.
