... was 11:25 when we got in line to go through the Monastery. It took us until 12:50 to get through it because the lines were so long even though it probably won't have taken more than 15-20 minutes without the immense numbers of tourists. Although interesting, being amongst the crowds definitely wasn't. The Hanging Temple was built in 491 AD and protrudes from Cuiping cliff. The temple covers 125 square metres and has over 40 rooms but no room is larger than ...

... of them don’t look that great. But one of them really stands out: the Lin family Diaolou. The inside is just untouched. It just seems like people were living here few month ago but all the furniture/pictures are from another century. It was amazing! This was my favourite of the day.

    3) Zili village. Ok so here we have a winner. I am glad I went to the other two clusters first otherwise they would have seemed so dull. That cluster of Diaolou is the most ...

    Jiangmen lunch

After our orphanage visit, Mr. Guan and his wife very kindly invited us to one of his favorite restaurants for lunch. It was a good drive from the SWI, and more on the outskirts of Jiangmen. This was by far our best meal in China, although we have had many. The restaurant was new, and pretty full with people celebrating New Year's with their families. Again, we had ...
