    ... was 11:25 when we got in line to go through the Monastery. It took us until 12:50 to get through it because the lines were so long even though it probably won't have taken more than 15-20 minutes without the immense numbers of tourists. Although interesting, being amongst the crowds definitely wasn't. The Hanging Temple was built in 491 AD and protrudes from Cuiping cliff.     The next day I went to see the Diaolou. They were mostly build by successful overseas Chinese and incorporate architecture from China and the West.
