... Luke Kate and the kids headed more north, heading towards the ferry back to the UK. We checked in to a caravan park and plugged ourselves back in, showered, and made very good use of the washing machine and dryer. We had driven about 450 km on secondary roads doing around 80-90, so not to bad. At the camping they had two ponds, one with carpers and one with trouts. We ordered some trout with almonds for dinner which was beautiful and enjoyed our first night. ... buffet. Ron rarely is interested in breakfast except for the obligatory Diet Pepsi, but he dove in with gusto here. Nothing fancy, just plain, delicious, perfectly prepared food. Great coffee with warm milk, tea, scrambled eggs, a variety of excellent bread and pastry, jams that were probably homemade, fruit, yogurt, and juices.
